High Maintenance Machine

It's here! It's Draw Harry Potter Day! Some of us have been drawing a Harry Potter character every day until the book comes out. That's today! It's your last chance to get in on the fun. We've been hovering around 4 or 5 people a day, and I'd like to see if we could get at least 20 Harrys today. Can you help us?

I drew the second one while watching Harry and the Potters rock Hogwarts Square. There were about a zillion people there. Afterwards I gave my Dumbledore watercolor to Paul (Harry Year 7) from Harry and the Potters with info about everyone's drawings. So, if you're looking at this, welcome Paul! Welcome Joe!

Today is Draw Voldemort Day! I made another little watercolor for you. Some of us are drawing a Harry Potter character every day until the book comes out. That's tomorrow! Today is Draw Dumbledore Day! Some of us are drawing a Harry Potter character every day until the book comes out, which is only 2 days away, holy cow! There's still time to join us, and you'll find the full schedule under the cut.

These were starting to feel like work, so I gave up trying to draw the characters like they are in the book and went back to having fun with them. I'm still not successful, but I had more fun trying! My first tiny watercolor in my shiny new Moleskine watercolor sketchbook. That's lucylou's scooter he's riding. I would also like to apologize to oharlene's niece, because yesterday I confused Luna Lovegood and Professor Trelawney. I don't know what I was thinking, but I know that somewhere in Brooklyn, an 8 year old thinks I'm a complete idiot.
